Hello, this is my latest set – hot off the press literally being performed as I post this! The design was highly influenced by the artist Aubrey Beardsley. Balancing a set of only black and white has been a challenge and I have learnt a lot a long the way. Trying to emulate a wood block print style on a large scale and painting directly was also a challenge – particularly as I’m naturally drawn to texture. The process forced me to make every line count and to appreciate the importance of simple forms and patterns.
